ya...amazing moon the other night. You peeked my interest with blue moon comment, so i did a quick search and found out that a 'blue moon' arrives every 2.7154 years on average and is actually an extra full moon in the lunar calendar. December 2nd was actually the regular full moon for December, while the full moon that will occur on Dec. 31st will be the true 'Blue Moon'. insight: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_moon
